Charlyene Y. Blunt is an educator and an avid Space enthusiast. She has been an instructor for over 30 years. Currently, she is teaching and assisting adults as they pursue their High School Equivalency on several different platforms. As an instructor, she joined the NASA Science Engineering Mathematics and Aerospace Academy Program team in 1999. She has been teaching with them part time ever since. This program allowed her to introduce NASA and their Space Program to students by way of Starlab. Starlab was an in-person interactive visual experience allowing students to see and learn about various aspects of space. It is very similar to a planetarium experience.
