Jason Trump
Jason Trump is the Education Program Supervisor at Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City. His goals are to increase interest in science, cultivate appreciation for others, and facilitate the sharing of scientific ideas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics Education from Brigham Young University and holds a Professional Educator License in Secondary Science Education. He is a fellow of the Natural History Museum of Utah and is Utah’s first ambassador of the American Astronomical Society. Jason interned with the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and the National Park Service. He helped to discover several exoplanets, and has published research on a variable star in Cepheus and about the academic use of planetariums. His favorite project of all time has been developing an astronomy curriculum for young children, which he has presented at professional conferences in Utah and Colorado.
