Ben Senson has been an engaged and passionate astronomy enthusiast, instructor, researcher and observer for many years. He is the director for the MMSD Planetarium and an instructor at Madison College, teaching introductory astronomy courses. Ben is an alumni participant of the NITARP program and is currently serving as a Teacher Mentor for a NITARP research team. Ben has created innovative educational experiences for his student including developing the Madison Metropolitan School District Remotely Controlled Observatory and an Aircraft Construction Experience course. He continues to seek out opportunities that allow him to engage with the public, to learn collaboratively, and to take actions that shape the future.
