Krystal Hopper Meyers is the Oregon Space Grant Consortium's PRISMS Project Coordinator at Southwestern Oregon Community College and an Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Art History and Sustainability (Earth Systems & Human-Environment Systems) Undergraduate Student at Arizona State University, currently attending online. She has a passion for K-12 STEM Education and is a local Affiliate Representative for Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium. She mentors student researchers and coordinates K-12 education and community outreach events for the Physics and Engineering programs at Southwestern Oregon Community College. She is a proud mom of a teen son, enjoys outdoor activities, and stays active in her community, focusing her efforts on veteran and first responder support and youth programs. She is also an amateur astronomer and hopes to share her curiosity and enthusiasm with audience members of all ages.
