Krystal Hopper Meyers leads STEAM Pathways at Southwestern Oregon Community College and an Interdisciplinary Studies Undergraduate Student at Bushnell University, currently attending online. She has a passion for K-12 STEM Education and is a local Affiliate Representative for Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium and serves on the Leadership Council for the Oregon Coast STEM Hub. She leads the student research team and coordinates K-12 education and community outreach events with various departments at the college. She is a proud mom of a teen son, enjoys outdoor activities, and stays active in her community, focusing her efforts on veteran and first responder support and youth programs. She is also an amateur astronomer and hopes to share her curiosity and enthusiasm with audience members of all ages.
