Marie Hill is a graduate of Florida Southern College and has been a music educator for 31 years. She grew up in Seminole, Florida on a heavy diet of all things NASA and the Arts. At Jamerson, Marie incorporates sound and space science into her K-5 music curriculum. She has developed and presented STEAM workshop and creative classroom management sessions on a local, state, and national level. Currently, Marie is enjoying working with the Jamerson staff to develop engineering units and present musicals with related STEAM lessons based on children’s literature. Her latest project is a musical based on a graphic novel. In April 2019, Marie was awarded the Ray Lien Outstanding Aerospace Educator Award at the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Educators’ Workshop.
