Cecil Castellucci is the award-winning and New York Times Bestselling author of books and graphic novels for young adults She has also written beloved licensed characters. The daughter of two scientists, Cecil loves talking science with everyone and being inspired by it for her stories. She has written three opera librettos. Recently she wrote an opera aria inspired by the Parker Solar Probe which she hopes will be the beginning of a spacecraft micro opera song cycle. She is a two-time MacDowell Fellow who lives in Los Angeles.
