Jonathan's personal interest in space exploration was initially triggered by his father's love for both the Apollo program and Golden Era science fiction. From there, he had a growing appreciation for, and interest in, space activities that culminated in a professional and academic drive that led him to get his undergraduate degree in space studies. In his professional life, he loves educating other non-space adjacent professionals on the utility and importance of continuing space exploration and technologies development.
