Paola Santillan was born in Peru and emigrated to the US as a young child. Ever since she got her first library card and brought her first books on space home, she has been hooked on everything space and astronomy related. She owns a couple of telescopes and attends local telescope conferences in Vermont. She is a member of the New Hampshire Astronomical society. She attends lectures (online and in-person) whenever she can and loves to share her enthusiasm and love of all things space with her family, friends and her community at large. She plays piano and loves classical music. She also loves to garden and cook. She has two black cats and enjoys the four seasons in the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
