Gus Becker develops image processing and data analysis software at the University of Colorado Boulder. In public outreach, he uses creative coding and the JavaScript library p5.js (with its online editor) to teach beginners programming concepts. Gus also enjoys drawing and making zines, and believes zine-making is a useful tool to make the sciences more accessible.
