Charlotte Kiang
Charlotte Kiang is a management consultant, writer, and former rocket scientist based in Los Angeles. In her current role, she advises senior executives across a variety of industries on management and business strategy. Prior to becoming a management consultant, Charlotte worked at SpaceX, where she was the lead Mission Integration Engineer and Cargo Specialist for the first ever crewed mission of the Dragon 2 spacecraft. After transitioning out of engineering, she wrote science articles for a a global nonprofit organization and held a journalism fellowship which supported her efforts to increase the visibility of female scientists and engineers in the media. Charlotte holds a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Wellesley College and a master’s degree in engineering from Cornell University. A passionate advocate for STEM education, she taught high school AP Computer Science part-time while still an undergraduate student, and has volunteered as a STEM mentor to K-12 students since receiving her degrees.
