Joe Evans is currently a Ph.D. student at Florida Institute of Technology studying Space Science. His main area of interest is Astrobiology, the study of how life came to be, where it is going, and whether Earth life is alone in the universe. Joe earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2006 from the United States Air Force Academy. He went on to serve 12 years in the Active Duty Air Force, and is still serving part-time in the AF Reserve. Joe also holds a Master’s in Military Science and a Graduate Certificate of Science in Astronomy. Joe enjoys outdoor sports, reading/watching science fiction, and spending quality time with friends and family.
