Le Si (LEE-see) Qu holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. One of her earliest memories in elementary school was designing a Moon base with her friend. She remembers the excitement that they felt as they sketched where the astronauts would sleep, work, grow food and how they would generate energy. While she did not know what an engineer was back then, she later rediscovered her passion for space and engineering in university. As a student, some of her projects included a miniature Mars rover, fixed-wing electric aircraft, high-powered rocket, and bioelectric prosthetic hand. Le Si has been highly involved with a women in engineering society for the past six years. She is passionate about outreach, uplifting others, and aerospace. Her aspiration is to work on a project that will one day reach the expanses of space.
