Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Robert Pimpsner is a life-long space enthusiast who has always wanted to travel to the stars. After graduating from Port Richmond High School he went on to get a Bachelor's degree from St. John's University. After he went on to work in the marketing/communications field but still held onto his passion for space exploration. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Robert was inspired by the DEMO-2 mission to return to school and pursue an engineering degree to follow his passion for space and hopes to work one day in the industry.
