Lydell Nunn
Dr. Lydell Nunn is a practicing chiropractor based in York, Pennsylvania, with a robust academic and professional background. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Parker University in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to his chiropractic practice, Dr. Nunn has a long-standing fascination with astronomy, which he developed during childhood. This passion led him to pursue astrophotography as a hobby starting in 2017. To further his knowledge, he earned a master's degree in Space Studies with a concentration in astronomy from American Public University in 2021.
Dr. Nunn is also an active member of the astronomy community. He serves as a coordinator at the Ryan Observatory in Holtwood, Pennsylvania. He shares his knowledge as a science and space instructor in Penn State York's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program.
In 2021, Dr. Nunn constructed the Wallingford MAK Observatory in his backyard, from which he captures stunning images of the cosmos. His astrophotography work has been recognized and published multiple times in an astronomy-themed magazine.
