Niki Yarger grew up in the Detroit area of Michigan, where she earned her BS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Applied Physics, with a focus on Earth and Space Science. She recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with an MS in Space Systems Engineering and is currently located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Ms. Yarger first became fascinated with space exploration as a child watching Carl Sagan present Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. She now extends that same fascination and wonder to others as an Astronomy Educator for special events in The Dome at the Science Museum of Virginia.
