Pradipta Shrestha was born in Nepal and completed early education years there. As a kid he loved watching the stars in the clear night skies of Nepal. His favorite star gazing moment from childhood was seeing the Hale Bopp comet from his backyard. At 16, he started an Astronomy club and went on to give presentations on Space and Astronomy in different schools in Nepal. After moving to the US with his family, he earned a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and currently works as a Software Engineer at a large financial corporation. Now he loves attending different Space conferences and meeting like-minded people who are also passionate about Space Exploration.
