Contact Francisco

Francisco Alonso López Ortiz was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Francisco has forged his life motivated by his immense desire for knowledge and contact with nature. This young scholar is recognized for his distinguished academic performance since childhood. During his adolescence, Francisco also stood out for his work as a member of the Puerto Rico Astronomy Society and as a volunteer for the Saturn Observation Campaign. Under the direction of both organizations, Francisco offered numerous educational scientific conferences and organizing astronomical observation nights open to the public for several years, impacting all types of audiences around the island. In 2008, Francisco completed his studies, with honorable distinctions, at the Carmen Belén Veiga High School in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico. Immediately, Francisco was admitted to the Mayagüez campus of the University of Puerto Rico, where, in turn, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, awarded Magna Cum Laude, with a specialty in Philosophy. Francisco then proceeded to carry out his graduate studies at the Río Piedras campus of the University of Puerto Rico, the academic institution where he recently completed his Master of Arts degree, also specializing in Philosophy. Francisco's professional feat also includes some interviews in the news media, presentations at legislative public hearings and the publication of writings. At present times, this young man resides in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, yearning to begin his doctoral studies in order to practice the teaching profession in his discipline for the rest of his life.
