Trish Cerulli is a Virginia native and science enthusiast, living in Lynchburg, Virginia. She earned two degrees in chemistry, a B.S. from the University of Mary Washington in 2008 and an M.S. from the University of Virginia in 2014. In graduate school, her coursework and research focused on astrochemistry, investigating the presence of chemicals and reactions within astronomical ices, both experimentally and observationally. In addition to serving as a Lead Docent for programming at the Belk Observatory of the University of Lynchburg, Trish has begun her own program for mobile astronomy outreach in the Lynchburg region. She is active in her community as a member of Vector Space (Lynchburg’s makerspace), President of the Blue Ridge Astronomy Club, and a Rotarian.
