Gitza M. Más Figueroa is currently an Educator at the EcoExploratorio: Museo de Ciencias de Puerto Rico. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry and a Vocational Certification in Practical Nursing. She has four years in the field of STEM education and is passionate about engineering despite having a bachelor of science. In the past years, she has used astronomy as inspiration for work activities and events such as the Solar Eclipse in August 2017. One of her personal goals is to inspire young people to study, participate and provide opportunities for careers in STEM to internships or future studies. She is currently a mentor in the international competitions for the Puerto Rico teams in FIRST Global Challenge 2020: Connecting Communities and the first Puerto Rico team in a Cyber ​​Robotics competition for CoderZ Junior League 2020. She enjoys learning about robotics and the applications that it allows us.
