Thomas Corbett is a native of Texas and has watched the Space Program grow from the Mercury mission to today. As a traffic announcer in the 90's on several local radio stations in Houston as Tom Austin, he also was a DJ on Z 107.5 His first radio job was at KYKR in Beaumont, Texas in 1979. He is currently working with TxDOT in daily incident management and in emergency situations. His passion of the Space Program has his friends calling him Major Tom Space Cadet. In reference to the song by David Bowie and the 50’s TV show. Thomas has always wanted to be a part NASA and being an Ambassador is one way he can be a part of the greatest exploration we have embarked on.
