Laudy Acero, is a native from Colombia, South America, who moved to Florida nine years ago.  She attended the University of America where she earned a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering degree and was part of the biotechnology research team, as well as the automation research team. Laudy has been interested in science and astronomy since she was a child.  At middle school, she joined a group of friends who would spend all their vacations sharing their telescope and knowledge with neighbors and visitors of the city of light in Colombia.  They also attended conferences in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and the Planetary of Bogota. She enjoys sharing her passion for Science, Engineering, Innovation and Learning.
