Snigdha Nellutla is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. For as long as she can remember, learning about outer space has been a strong passion of hers. It all began in second grade with a book she wrote about the Solar System. She considers that to be the starting point of her journey. Since then, she immersed herself in activities that expressed her passion for learning about space as well as harnessing her design skills. Numerous projects on space systems, designing bottle rockets, and even visiting NASA centers all launched her closer towards the field. In demonstrating such passion to learn about the wonders beyond our world, she has gained more and more interest in specific topics, like energy and other resources in outer space. Her goal is to spread knowledge to as many people as possible, and hopefully inspire others to discover their purpose and contribute to making a lasting impact in our world. Apart from outer space, she is also passionate about a form of Indian classical dance - Kuchipudi - which she has been trained in for 12 years and counting. Her Indian culture plays a strong influence in her life, as she always embraces her family's ongoing traditions and values. She hopes to not only share what she knows through this program, but also in the process, learn as much as she can! She is always looking to find out more about how things work and why they do, especially when it comes to the limitless questions presented by the unknowns of our universe.
