Jennie King is a graduate of the University of Virginia's astronomy program. While studying astronomy and physics, she discovered her deep love of STEM education and outreach. As a public school physics and engineering teacher in Denver, Colorado, she brought her love of space exploration to the classroom. Jennie hosted a livestream event for students and families to celebrate the landing of the Mars Perseverance Rover. Jennie believes that the most important work she does on this planet is sharing her love of the universe, and demonstrating the limitless possibilities that space exploration can provide to our species. Jennie is excited to host or collaborate on events focusing on a range of scientific topics and NASA milestones. She is now located in Vancouver, BC but is available for virtual events in any area.
