Karen Brundage-Johnson
Karen Brundage-Johnson is an amateur astronomer. She is a human resources consultant and college professor. She has participated in numerous workshops and teacher trainings hosted by NASAJPL.Edu. She has volunteered at the Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University; including a field trip with youth from her community to observe Mercury transit the Sun in November 2019. She has also hosted online space exploration watch parties in her community. Karen is a contributing author in a book dedicated to the emotional, mental and spiritual wellness of women. Karen’s passionate interest in space exploration has been with her throughout her life and she has always found ways to incorporate astronomy and science into engaging presentations to people of all ages. She believes everyone should have a sense of awareness and fascination about the Cosmos.
