Sally Stieglitz is the Communications and Outreach Coordinator at Long Island Library Resources Council (LILRC) where she works with libraries and librarians across Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York to develop and implement programs for librarian professional development. She is also responsible for overseeing LILRC's communications including newsletters, social media, press, and website content. She is active in her profession through volunteer work at the local and national level. Her local committee work is focused on promoting health resources for public librarians and serving on a library committee that organizes an island-wide community read each year. At the national level, she serves as the editor-in-chief for Association of Jewish Libraries' News and Reviews.
