JohnPaul Sleiman
JohnPaul Sleiman is a PhD student at University of Rochester in the DRIP (Dirt, Rivers, Ice, Particles) Lab. A native of Greenville SC, JohnPaul grew up fascinated by how the Earth evolves and studying space. He is currently trying to understand near-surface processes on Mars and especially creep and permafrost cycles on Earth. To do this, he studies geomorphology, near-surface geophysics, and sediment transport. JohnPaul seeks to foster and encourage a love of space and planetary science in his community. He has been inspired by groups like NASA, JPL, and March for Science to inspire others to be activist in science communctions and public outreach
