Adrian S. Portland is the Lead Teacher of the Pottsville Area High School�s Science Department and have been teaching high school astronomy/biology for the past 23 years. He currently serves as the Director of the Pottsville Area High School Motivational Science Center. The Center consists of a 72-seat planetarium and a roof top observatory. He is a 1992 graduate of Pottsville Area High School and earned a bachelor�s degree in Biology from Lebanon Valley College in 1996. He will be pursuing a masters degree in astronomy/planetology beginning this summer. He currently resides in Saint Clair, Pennsylvania with his wife, son, and dog. He looks forward to sharing his love of astronomy with you.
