Britaney Phillips is a high school engineering teacher in Spring Hill, Tennessee. She wanted to become a Solar System Ambassador to share her passion of space and space exploration with students of all ages. Growing up in Iowa, she was inspired by astronauts such as Peggy Whitson, who are trailblazers for women in space exploration. Her goal is to excite and inspire the future generation of space explorers.
