Nancy Parra-Quinlan has had the honor of teaching for 30 years, the last 18 at Kino Junior High School in Mesa, Arizona. She runs the Mesa Public School Aerospace Academy summer program which gives students unique opportunities to explore flight and space. As the Aerospace Education Assistant Director of the Civil Air Patrol for the Arizona Wing, she gets to share her passion for aerospace with teachers around the state. Nancy is the 2022 Air & Space Forces Association National STEM Teacher of the Year and the 2022 AEF State Teacher of the Year for Arizona.
