One of the significant drivers of Amanda's science career was the opportunity to attend Space Camp in 3rd grade. She continued with her studies in science throughout middle and high school, competing in science fairs and academic bowls. In 2020, Amanda graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a BS in Geology and a minor in Biology. She is currently working on two Master's degrees, one in Geoscience at Mississippi State, and one in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management from UT-Martin.
