Solar System Ambassadors
Trevor Macduff
Trevor Macduff is an award winning science teacher from Pasco, Washington. He currently teaches at the alternative high school in Richland, where he uses Space Science as the context for a wide variety of hands-on learning experiences. Having recently completed the NASA Distinguished STEM Leadership Certificate, he continues growing in his passion and knowledge about space exploration as well as his desire to spread that passion to everyone around him. After spending several years with his classes designing a 32-mile radius scale model of the solar system, he founded a nonprofit committed to lifelong learning for all members of the community. Through the context of the solar system and space exploration, Trevor engages in regular presentations to various civic, private, and service clubs, partners with local museums, and shares resources to continue spreading the value and inspiration of reaching for the stars.
