Roxana Jimenez is a Brownsville, Texas native who is completely in love with Space Exploration and would like to share her excitement with the Rio Grande Valley. Currently she teaches high school math. She has been an instructor for an organization whose goal is to help create awareness in young females and to encourage them to pursue careers in STEM. She has also been an instructor for an engineering summer camp. Having participated in the LiftOff 2016 and LiftOff Alumni 2019 Summer Institute has helped her find inspiration to create and share the ideas from peers from across Texas as well as the United States. Every teacher she have had the pleasure of meeting has inspired her to create NASA related activities to do in her classroom.
