Joyce Jentges
Joyce Jentges been an amateur astronomer for more than 30 years. Beginning as a teenager, she became interested in the constellations and got involved with an astronomy club during high school. After seeing M13 the globular cluster in the club telescope, she became excited about finding things in the night sky. The astronomy club she belonged to hosted public viewing events where people would look through her telescope. She became very active in the pubic outreach of this club. Currently she is the Vice President of the Northern Cross Science Foundation and holds a spot on the board of directiors. She helps plan upcoming events for the club. She is also on the committee for planning the club's annual conference. Outside of astronomy she enjoys reading, being in nature and animals.
