Deron has been involved in information and network security for the past 18+ years. Over this time he has worked in many different industries such as oil & gas/energy, health care, financial services, and legal/professional services firms. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois-Chicago and his MS in Computer, Network, and Information Security from DePaul University. Deron currently serves as a Managing Director for a cyber services practice. In his spare time Deron teaches graduate-level information and network security courses at DePaul University with the hope that he can give those entering this industry a head start and skills they will use for years to come.
