Beth Gordon's passion for science was heavily influenced by childhood visits to Griffith Observatory, the La Brea Tar Pits and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Her professional background is broad and includes experience in outdoor education, systems administration, corporate marketing and product demos. She currently resides just outside of Portland, Oregon with her dog Kuiper, who shares her enthusiasm for space. Together they have visited more than 30 museums around the United States and communicated the history of Mercury, Gemini and Apollo to thousands of dog and space enthusiasts online.
