Corrie Ann Delgado
Corrie Ann Delgado is an avid observational and armchair astronomer. After seeing the Galilean moons of Jupiter through a telescope, she was lost to all things in the heavens above. Her education began with Information Systems, but she quickly realized that teaching others and enriching their lives was what really motivated her, and that set her on her current path of astronomy outreach. Her passion for sharing about our incredible universe is the driving force for her endeavors. She has logged over 100 hours of outreach, in addition to running the"Tour of the Universe" show at Primland observatory. One of her favorite astronomical highlights was going to see Stephen Hawking lecture at Texas A&M School of Science and then touring the Johnson Space center afterwards. Corrie Ann is a long-standing member of the Echo Ridge Astronomical Society. She enjoys watching for the International Space Station, astrophotography, attending science lectures and astronomy symposiums, twittering about space and inspiring a new generation of space explorers!
