Bill Cloutier is an amateur astronomer and founding member of an observatory, located in New Milford, Connecticut, which has been operational since 2000. The observatory's mission to further science literacy. Bill is the senior editor of the observatory’s monthly newsletter on astronomy and space exploration, as well as a regular presenter and an adult education classroom instructor for a night sky appreciation course, NEO observer, and a senior telescope operator. Before retiring, Bill worked in the nuclear industry for 42 years. He has a life-long interest in astronomy, astrophotography, space exploration history, with a special interest in lunar imaging, and sharing those interests with the public.
