Todd Brown
Todd Brown has been interested in astronomy since he was a child and growing up in Waverly, Illinois. He went on to receive his B.S. in physics from Purdue University and his Ph.D. in physics from Vanderbilt University where he studied nuclear astrophysics at Argonne National Laboratory. He has been teaching physics and astronomy for over 20 years. He is currently an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg where he is actively involved in the development of pedagogical techniques for teaching physics and astronomy. Dr. Brown has given numerous physics and astronomy workshops across the United States for both in-service teachers and students of all ages. He is also an active member of an international group of scientists and educators interested in bringing nuclear physics, particle physics, cosmology and plasma physics into the classroom.
