Kellie has been a Middle School Flight and Space/Automation and Robotics Teacher for Mukwonago Area School District in Wisconsin since 2011. In 2011, she created a robotics club that allowed middle school students to work with industrial volunteers, local colleges, and high school students with the same passion. In 2018, the program has since morphed into "The Makers and Breakers Engineering Club" allowing students to be exposed to a variety of engineering and space concepts including Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles, fluid power challenges, 3D printing, coding with Arduinos, and much more. Kellie has always had a passion for space, science, and teaching, but while attending Space Academy in 2017, she realized her passion could be shared with the whole world. Since 2017. Kellie has been promoting space education in Wisconsin through presentations and classes. Outside of school, Kellie enjoys the outdoors through hiking, camping, flying lessons, and stargazing with her husband, two daughters, and Beagle. She looks forward to igniting passion for space education in Wisconsin!
