Solar System Ambassadors
Donn Anderson
Donn W. Anderson has served as a volunteer docent in the Aerospace Building on the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum Campus since 2007. His interest in astronomy and space travel extend all the way back to his childhood in the countryside where a sky full of stars and the glowing Milky Way were clearly visible on every clear night. With his own telescope, he viewed the moon's craters, the rings of Saturn, the four largest moons of Jupiter, and the occasional passing comet. Donn personally witnessed the launches of Apollo 11, Apollo 17, and the very first Space Shuttle STS-1. The exploration of our Solar System continues to fascinate him to this very day!
