Andrew Temme is a Science educator of 24 years with experience in teaching elementary, middle and high school students. He has taught Astronomy, Physical Science, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences (Oceanography, Meteorology, Geology) in addition to serving as the Planetarium Director at the Fair Lawn Astronomy Center's planetarium. Under his direction, the planetarium hosts all district grade 1, 3, 5, and 7th grade students for instructional sessions and also opens to the public for evening sessions. He has has taught Astronomy at the high school for the past 10 years. He currently serves as a Science Specialist who leads K-5 elementary educators in implementing STEM based lessons to students. He has worked extensively as an instructional coach while implementing NGSS based curriculum within his school district.
