Will Snyder is a professional member of the planetarium community and informal educator. Since 2019, he has been manager of the historic James S. McDonnell Planetarium at the Saint Louis Science Center. Will graduated from the Clarion University of Pennsylvania Honors College with a bachelor's degree in physics, concentrating in astrophysics, and a minor in mathematics. While at university, he interned with the Buhl Planetarium at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh and was student director of Clarion University's Donald D. Pierce Planetarium. After graduation, Will moved to North Carolina where he was director of the Ingram Planetarium in Sunset Beach, followed by director of the James H. Lynn Planetarium at the Schiele Museum of Natural History located outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. At each facility Will has worked, he has pioneered enduring public and school programming that has helped thousands of visitors to better appreciate the wonders of the cosmos and encouraged many to foster a lifelong interest in the sciences. Will looks forward to each day inspiring not only the next generation, but EVERY generation to keep looking up.
