Joe Slezak grew up in Ansonia in southern Connecticut, attending St. Joseph Elementary School and Notre Dame High School. He was very active in Boy Scouts, attaining the Eagle Scout rank. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin attaining a Masters Degree in Organizational and Interpersonal Communications. He taught communication courses at the Marquette College of Speech from 1973-1975. For the past 40 years, Joe has established, designed, and directed the organizational development and leadership training programs for many major corporations. He has experiences in many different products, services, and business operations involving various manufacturing sciences, STEM technologies, and processes. He has worked with many schools and businesses to build learning partnerships throughout Wisconsin. Today Joe is a semi-retired business consultant and video producer living in Neenah, Wisconsin, He is an avid astronomer, SCUBA diver, snow/water skier, and ham radio operator. Joe retreats to his summer house near Wautoma, on Mt. Morris Lake where the dark skies allow for good astronomy, fishing, pontoon boating, and evening campfires with his neighbors.
