Ian Sherman began his exploration into the night sky by volunteering at the Oregon Observatory, which quickly flourished into a passion and career. Over three years he aligned telescopes, taught kids summer classes, and helped run both solar and nighttime programs. Currently an undergraduate at the University of Oregon, Ian continues to bring his excitement for the stars to any of the classrooms and communities he volunteers in, encouraging everyone to ask questions and delve into the beautiful world of the night sky.
