Two of Ryan Sailstad's favorite memories from last year were experiencing the solar eclipse at totality and getting to meet Jim Lovell! He has an undergraduate degree in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education and a master's degree in Recreation Administration. For the past 15 years, he has been applying both his experiential education and recreation background to teach the public about all things space working at Durham Parks and Recreation.
