In the past ten years, Heidi Ragsdale has crafted her love of space and STEM education and advocacy, and now uses problem-based learning with an emphasis in Geospatial technology to help students strive to solve problems, just like astronauts do on the International Space Station, collaboratively! By nature, she is a connector and always looks for ways to help educate all levels of learners and to provide increased opportunities for STEM and space education for her community in rural Western Colorado. Her favorite science teacher moment was watching the MAVEN mission launch to Mars in 2013, live at Cape Canaveral, as a MAVEN Educator Ambassador!
