Lon Maxwell grew up in Northeastern Ohio and has a love of amateur astronomy. He was first exposed to space sciences through a middle school astronomy program at Oberlin college and continued his learning with the Boy Scouts of America and at university. He's lived in Tennessee for more than twenty tears now and has engaged in his love of teaching through the Williamson County Schools and now with the Williamson County Public Library and the Boy Scouts of America. He currently lives with my wife and two boys, far enough out into country to get a good black sky for stargazing.
