Alexander is an astrophysics undergraduate from San Diego, California. Since joining the JPL SSA program, he has hosted and supported events around San Diego County to pass on his passion for astronomy and science education. As President of the San Diego Mesa College Astronomy and Space Science Club, Beltzer-Sweeney works to try to inform his community about innovations in the field of astronomy, helps lead star parties, and hosts workshops on opportunities for student success and career paths for the future.
