Matt Affenita is a pilot by profession, but that's only because astronaut jobs are hard to get. He's a big fan of all things astronomical. He frequently read books by both scientists and science fiction writers. Some of his favorites on both sides are Neil deGrasse Tyson, David Grinspoon, Carl Sagan, Issac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and Kim Stanley Robinson. He also likes to run, camp, fish, river raft, and play the guitar.
