Michele Wistisen has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her Master's thesis was about using Gestalt principles of perception to improve students' understanding of the phases of the moon. Working at the Casper Planetarium since 1996, has given her a fundamental background in astronomy. With that knowledge she have helped design astronomy curriculum for our school district, written and produced planetarium programs about basic principles of astronomy, given presentation in classrooms and taught a class called Astronomy for Teacher for a number of years.
